EXECUTIVE

President - Rowen B Craigie BEc (Hons)

Mr Rowen Craigie, CEO Crown Limited, was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Crown Melbourne on 8 January 2002 and subsequently joined the PBL and Crown Boards. Mr Rowen Craigie was part of the original team who joined Crown Limited in 1993 and was appointed Crown's Executive General Manager, Gaming Machines in 1996, and Chief Operating Officer, Casino in 2000.

Prior to joining Crown, Mr Craigie was Group General Manager, Gaming at the TAB in Victoria and previously held senior economic policy positions in the Victorian Treasury and Department of Industry.

 
 

Vice President - John Mortensen 

Mr John Mortensen was appointed Director of Gaming & Entertainment for The Federal Group in June 2006. He has responsibility for Wrest Point Casino & Country Club Tasmania as well as the Network Gaming Division, the Hotel division, Group Human Resources & Procurement for The Federal Group.

 

Mr Mortensen has been working for The Federal Group for almost 30 years in a range of positions and has held senior roles with the company for more than 15 years.

 

Mr Mortensen holds a Bachelor of Business Degree and AMP qualifications from Harvard Business School.

 
 

Treasurer – Geoff Hogg

Mr Geoff Hogg joined Tabcorp in May 2008 as Managing Director of the Treasury Casino and Hotel in Brisbane. Prior to joining Tabcorp, Mr Hogg worked with the SKYCITY Entertainment Group for over 13 years in a number of senior management roles across their New Zealand Casino properties.

Mr Hogg has extensive experience in casino operations management, personnel development and change management. 

 
 

Executive Director - Chris Downy

Mr Chris Downy is the Executive Director of the Australasian Casino Association. 

Mr Downy joined the Association in October 2000. He was previously Head of Corporate and Government Relations at Sydney Airports Corporation, a position he held from July 1998. Before that he had been Manager, Community and Government Relations for Sydney Airport from January to June 1998.

Prior to joining Sydney Airports Corporation Mr Downy was a Member of the Lower House in the NSW Parliament from March 1988 to December 1997. He was Minister for Sport, Recreation and Racing in the Liberal State Government from May 1993 to April 1995. Before this he had been Government Whip from 1992 to 1993. With the defeat of the Liberal Government in April 1995 he was appointed Shadow Minister for Sport and Recreation with responsibility for Racing and Gaming issues in the Legislative Assembly before resigning from Parliament in November 1997.
