President – Rowen B Craigie BEc (Hons)

Mr Rowen Craigie – Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Crown Resorts Limited. 

Mr Craigie was appointed Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director in 2007. He is also director of Crown Melbourne Limited, Burswood Limited, Melco Crown Entertainment (Macau) Limited and Aspers Holdings (Jersey) Limited. 

Mr Craigie previously served from 2005 to 2007 as the Chief Executive Officer of PBL Gaming and as the Chief Executive Officer of Crown Melbourne Limited from 2002 to 2007. Mr Craigie joined Crown Melbourne Limited in 1993 and was appointed as the Executive General Manager of its Gaming Machines department in 1996 and was promoted to Chief Operating Officer in 2000.

Prior to joining Crown Melbourne Limited, Mr Craigie was the Group General Manager for Gaming at the TAB in Victoria from 1990 to 1993 and had held senior economic policy positions in Treasury and the Department of Industry in Victoria from 1984 to 1990. 


Vice President – John Mortensen 

As the General Manager of SKYCITY Auckland, 

John Mortensen is responsible for the operations of SKYCITY’S largest business which encapsulates two hotels, over 20 bars and restaurants, a world-class casino, Sky Tower and a Convention Centre.

John has extensive experience working within the hospitality and casino industries, having held managerial positions early in his career at The London Inn, Wintersun Hotel and the Don Hotel Casino before moving to Tasmania to take up a position as a Croupier at Country Club Resort and Casino with The Federal Group. 

Over the next 30 years John held a number of senior management positions within The Federal Group. He was appointed The General Manager of Network Gaming in 2000 and then Director of Gaming and Entertainment in 2006. Prior to his appointment at SKYCITY he held the position of Chief Operating Officer and was responsible for the operations of Wrest Point Casino, Country Club Tasmania, Network Gaming, Vantage Hotel Group, The Pure Tasmania Resorts division, Group Human Resources and Procurement. 

John holds a Bachelor of Business Degree and AMP qualifications from Harvard Business School. 


Treasurer – Geoff Hogg

Mr Geoff Hogg joined Tabcorp in May 2008 as Managing Director of the Treasury Casino and Hotel in Brisbane. Prior to joining Tabcorp, Mr Hogg worked with the SKYCITY Entertainment Group for over 13 years in a number of senior management roles across their New Zealand Casino properties.

Mr Hogg has extensive experience in casino operations management, personnel development and change management. 


Chief Executive – John Lee

Mr John Lee is the Chief Executive of Casinos and Resorts Australasia. He is responsible for delivering the strategic and operational outcomes for the organisation.

Early in his career, John worked in hospitality including an extended period working for some major Australian iconic resorts. John has also held senior positions in Government, notably as head of communications and marketing for transport for the 2000 Sydney Olympics and as a Director General in NSW.  He has run major transport logistic companies and prior to this role John was the CEO of the Tourism and Transport Forum (Australia).

John also sits on the boards of the Australian Sports Commission and the Advertising Standards Board.
