Casinos and the Australian Economy 2007 - 2008
'Casinos and the Australian Economy' is a comprehensive report on the economic contribution made by Australia's casino industry. This year's report also considers other economic facets of the Australian casino industry, including regulatory and taxation arrangements, employment and training activities. Comparisons are made between Australia's casino industry and other sectors of the Australian gaming industry, as well as overseas casino industries.


The report was prepared by The Allen Consulting Group and also formed part of the ACA's submission to the Productivity Commission Inquiry into Gambling. 

 

ACA Economic Report 2006 - 2007
The Australian Casino Association (ACA) 2006/07 Australian Casino Economic Report is a comprehensive study of all casino operators located in Australia. The current report marks the twelfth year that the study has been undertaken, with the last four editions providing key benchmark data that has been consolidated in this year’s report where applicable.

Our Contribution to the Economy 2005 - 2006
Australia’s 13 casinos make a major economic contribution to the Australian community. Our casinos are entertainment complexes that operate in total compliance environments. They are major providers of employment and training, important players in the tourism and convention industries and an important source of revenue for all levels of government.
